The 2018 Intergenerational Dialogue by Reach A Hand, Uganda
The Intergenerational Dialogue is the premier gathering for the young and old, policy makers, Civil Society Organizations and individuals committed to creating interactive Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) generational conversations. It is an opportunity to assess where the current policies on young people’s SRHR needs stand, evaluate SRHR generational developments and lessons learnt, and collectively chat a way forward to meet the young people’s SRHR needs.
The Intergenerational Dialogue is a high magnitude advocacy activity that will pull together high level players, actors and stakeholders. This year we plan on having the Rt. Hon. Ruhakana Rugunda, The Prime Minister of the Republic of Uganda as the chief guest.
The 4th Intergenerational Dialogue will initiate discourse on the state of Sexuality Education in Uganda, in reference to the post Sexuality Education ban. This is an opportunity we have leveraged on to involve like-minded CSOs including the Voices for Health partners to offer insights during the planning activities so that we maximize the potential of this massive advocacy platform.
