PSI Uganda is a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of Ugandans by availing affordable and quality life saving commodities and information through proven health interventions like social franchising, social marketing and social behavior change communications.
As implementing partners supporting Uganda’s Ministry of Health in its goal to have a healthy and productive population, PSIU is working to improve the health of Ugandans in the areas of Reproductive and Maternal Health, Malaria and Child survival, HIV/AIDS and improved access to safe water.
PSI Uganda implements a Youth Friendly Services (YFS) project called Yo Space. It is aimed at increasing access to sexual reproductive health information and services among young girls in the 4 districts of Buikwe, Kampala, Mukono and Wakiso. The Human Centred Design (HCD) was employed to necessitate participation of young girls to design effective and efficient sexual reproductive health interventions for this sub population.
