“Increased Access to Modern Contraception (I AM) for a better life” is a program that aims at increasing information access on modern contraception, strengthening linkages between young people and skilled service providers, prioritising expanded demand for quality contraceptive services and working with the district health offices to support the local healthcare systems to ensure contraceptive security in the districts of Mbarara, Rwampara and Isingiro in Southwestern Uganda. The project’s goal is to ensure that young people(15-30) are empowered and fully supported in their decision on if, when and how to have children through taking a rights-based approach that emphasises free will and informed choice, informed consent, respect for privacy, confidentiality, equality and non-discrimination, participation and accountability.
