Reach A Hand in partnership with Save the Children International (SCI) is providing support to Kasese district to deliver integrated, multisectoral interventions for adolescents and young people (AYP). The overall objective is to contribute to the improvement of the wellbeing of adolescents and women in Kasese district through enhancing quality and access to Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services through improving quality of Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health (ASRH) service provision at health facility and community level, increasing access and utilization of ASRH and improving support and accountability for adolescents’ right to health and development. A total of 12,954 children under 18 (5,962F; 6,992M) and 3,216 (1,287M;1,929F) young adults 18 – 25 will be reached directly over the life of the project. Additional 20,263 adults (6909M; 13,354F) including parents of adolescents and service providers will be reached. Working collaboratively with other SCI programs, the project is making a collective impact to contribute to a 5% reduction in teenage pregnancy across four sub counties of operation.
