Talona Mandela is a passionate peer educator and communications expert with a strong background in journalism, mass communication, and community health. At Reach A Hand Uganda (RAHU), he has led impactful initiatives addressing sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) through peer learning sessions, community dialogues, and district entry meetings. As a communication fellow, he contributed to updating the SautiPlus app and website with relevant content, and as a programs officer, he continues to drive meaningful community engagement.
Mandela has worked with multiple partners on diverse projects across the country, ensuring effective and sustainable implementation. He is skilled in mobilization, interpersonal communication, photography, videography, storytelling, and field research. Additionally, he is proficient in Microsoft Excel and digital content management. Fluent in English, Swahili, French, and Luganda, Mandela is a dedicated and adaptable leader whose collaborative approach and communication expertise continue to inspire change among youth and communities across Uganda.
