Are you an investigative journalist that is well versed with the basic concepts, global and local contexts, politics, policies and legislation governing the Health sector? Are you conversant with Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights issues?
Reach A Hand Uganda and partners are looking for self-driven, experienced and exceptional journalists to carry out and publish in-depth, well researched and easy to read SRHR articles in Uganda. The selected investigative stories will be used as a critical tool for advocacy.
How to Apply
Interested journalists should;
Submit a short concept of not more than 800 words, detailing the scope of research to info@reachahand.org not later than 3rd September 2021.
Submit a Current CV.
Attach images or submit links as evidence of having previously published investigative features.
The concept submitted should answer the following questions:
What’s the investigative area?
Why is it important?
How is the story different from what has already been reported?
Who are your target interviewees and how do they relate to the topic of interest?
What methodology do you intend to use?
Note: Selected journalists MUST ensure that their articles are published by any local, international broadcast/print media house. Selected journalists will be notified within a week of submission of concepts.
