CALL FOR LEAD FACILITATOR FOR THE 2022 PEER EDUCATORS ACADEMY

Are you passionate about Meaningful Youth Participation?
Are you an experienced trainer?

Then this is for you!

Reach A Hand Uganda (RAHU)  is looking for a lead facilitator for the 2022 Peer Educators Academy. The academy, now hosting its 8th cohort, is an annual fellowship program that brings together over 65 young people that are trained and empowered to facilitate positive change in their communities. As part of the fellowship, the young people are taken through intensive month-long training on different topics like sexual and reproductive health, behavioral change communication, climate change, and life skills.

As the lead facilitator, you will:

Participate in the co-design of the peer educators’ training schedule for the 2022 class.
Participate in the mapping and selection of facilitators to take on some of the sessions at the academy.
Provide overall facilitation guidance to the rest of the facilitating team.
Physically be at the training venue every day to open and close the classes.
Support the RAHU team in the assessment of the learning progress.
Attend the academy’s daily evaluation meetings. Work with the academy rapporteur to provide an overall qualitative and quantitative report for the training.
